If any thing is sacred, the human body is sacred. Walt Whitman
In order to experience everyday spirituality, we need to remember that we are spiritual beings spending some time in a human body. Barbara De Angelis
Did you know that to be born in a human body is a 1 in 400 trillion gift of life? The sheer combination of factors and scientific engineering that it takes to create a human life is mind-boggling. If we stop to take stock of every single action, muscles, connective tissue, mental and physical energy coursing through our bodies, we’d be impressed. Each of us is a masterpiece wonderfully made and we need to remember that with gratitude for the life we have. When we are able to pause and value our life, we will grasp the importance of valuing others lives too. We come into the world with a unique set of gifts, and we use them to make a difference in the lives of our friends, families and strangers. When we operate from a place of awe and gratitude for the gifts we have, we work at using them in the best possible way to uplift others and the world. How? When we perform our duties with pride and commitment, we elevate all around us and that energy continues to ripple out to the world. It is our responsibility to serve with passion and compassion and all of us can do our part. READ:100 Very Cool Facts About The Human Body Amazing facts you didn’t know about the human body!

Motivation Mondays: Wonderfully Made
Success makes so many people hate you. I wish it wasn’t that way. It would be wonderful to enjoy success without seeing envy in the eyes of those around you. Marilyn Monroe
Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful, that’s what matters to me. Steve Jobs
Why is there so much hate in our world? Recently, a friend shared a message with me that someone sent her. It was from a member of an online group I’m in. It was so hateful and ugly that it made no sense to me why anyone who feels that way about me or another person online would choose to be around me or that person. Why poison yourself with such hypocrisy? Why pretend to be a team player when you are a hater? Why wallow in all that hate over Twitter shares? We are all fearfully and wonderfully made yet, some can’t let the hate go. The saddest part is that these petty hatreds can grow into monsters. Soon, the person starts to imagine things the other person never ever thought of doing or thinking, and then, the hatred escalates into something else. Let it go. We are all here on this earth to learn and grow. We all have our fault-lines and that is what humanizes us. Compassion and direct communication can clear the air. Try that first and see how freeing it can be. If it doesn’t work, remove yourself from the situation. Don’t become a troll. We are all guests on this planet and the best guests remember to be grateful and principled. We live and we die by our principles… READ:100 Amazing Facts About the Human Body Human Body: 30 Unbelievable facts about human body
The Summer Day by Mary Oliver
Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
Who made the grasshopper?
This grasshopper, I mean–
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down —
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.
I don’t know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
With your one wild and precious life?

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
I feel as though my life is bathed in golden sunlight. And the really wonderful thing is that I know it. Helen McCrory
Why is there so much darkness even when we are surrounded by light? Because we stay stuck with unrealistic expectations about others. When we can learn to live and let live, we will open a door to our heart that enriches our lives and flows out to help and heal others. Again, our human existence is a great and rare gift, and our body functions in the most amazing ways that would take our breath away. If we stopped to ponder the genius behind it all, we would be humbled by the magnificent and brilliant machine that gets us up and out of the house every day. So, don’t waste time on hateful behavior. Cherish your life and aim to be better every day. Who is without fault on this planet? We all have our baggage and we can change our thinking and actions through forgiveness, love and communication, NOT through fear, intimidation or murder. When we begin to see our lives as sacrosanct, my hope is that we will also see the lives of others as sacrosanct. My heart goes out to all who have lost a loved one to violence. We come into this world for a season and our legacy lives on. Forgiveness and healing are imperative steps to take. I feel deeply pained, every time hatred, hypocrisy and violence cross my path because we can all be greater and better towards each other. Stay safe, uplifted and encouraged EVERYONE!
Guest House by Rumi
This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
Have a happy, peaceful and productive week ahead!

Seriously !!! I never give this thing a thought but your motivation really made me think of that being a human being is itself a bless to us. We sometimes forget to value it but this is really something important for us..
This is a great post to read when you are feeling down. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that even being alive is somewhat of a miracle, so the small things shouldn’t make us too sad!
This was so thought-provoking and beautiful to read and take in. We really must be grateful for the fact that we are even here on this earth as the person that we are. Really brings into perspective what life is to us.
Wow this stat that human body is a 1 in 400 trillion gift is amazing. We always love reading your Motivation posts. You always pick the best quotes and make such beautiful collages.
This is such a great post. Actually, in my early age I wonder how my body works even if it was being explained by science. But when I get older and have a knowledge to understand everything, I understand that there is someone letting me move and that is our God without Him we can’t do the things that we wanna do. That is why I believed that human is His one of the most wonderful made here on earth.
With all the hate around the world, we forget most of the time that we matter. I think this is such a positive and wonderful message to post especially these days. No matter where we are in the world or what we’re goung through, we definitely matter and we deserve to live the life we’ve always wanted.
It’s sad that sometimes as humans that we have to remind ourselves that we are wonderfully made and that much happened just for us to exist. To live is a gift. Why waste it being hateful and mean? If we all lived in the spirit of love, the world would be a much better place.
I don’t think we ever appreciate how beautifully each and everyone of us is made until something goes wrong and stops working like it should. We just finished watching Feud last night and it was such a sad story. Two beautiful women who could have been friends if they’d just recognized how special they both were
I always enjoy the poems that you inculde in your posts. It’s terrible that your friend recieved a message full of such hate, I always wonder the same thing as to why people feel the need to bring others down. Something I don’t think we will ever know.
Wonderfully made, indeed. Each human body is masterpiece in itself. Though we need to edit this masterpiece to make it glow with goodness. Love your articles on Monday Motivation.
This is such a beautiful message and a great reminder of the gift that we all have. I don’t know why there is so much hate in this world, it’s very sad. If we all started operating from a view of gratitude, as you suggest, it would be the start of something wonderful.
It’s a shame someone felt they had to air publicly on twitter. Just approaching the person that they have a grievance with can help clear up problems. Saying things that are mean about people to others isn’t nice and just creates negativity.
I never thought about the statics of actual life being 1 in 400 trillion. But it does make sense now. As for you friend, I’m saddened by the fact that someone had nasty word to say to her.
I really loved this post for a number of reasons— First, you do an excellent job of curating powerful quotes around an important theme. Our bodies are an amazing gift and we need to celebrate ourselves and each other. I so agree that jealous thoughts and hatred are such a waste of time and energy. Why troll, when we can lift each other up or spend that time working on self-improvement!
I as well don’t understand from where it comes such a negativity. But I like to just shift the focus and start thinking about the good stuff. When you think nice, nice will come. When you talk nice, nice will come. When you do nice, it will come back nice! So just shift the focus and spread the love <3
There is so much truth to this statement: “The body politic, as well as the human body, begins to die as soon as it is born, and carries itself the causes of its destruction.” Jean-Jacques Rousseau. I like to think that we spend our entire lives searching for ways to leave our mark on the world.
Compassion and direct communication sure clears s lot. I couldn’t agree more with that statement. Don’t let I’ll thoughts brew in your mind. You may be the only one thinking what your are thinking the other party may be unaware of what you think he or she did to you. And yes we are wonderfully made and unique in each of our own way.
It is really sad the amount of hate there is in the world nowadays. If everyone would take time to focus on themselves and what makes them happy, the world would be a better place.
I think the same way about people being hateful. I don’t understand it either; you need a lot of energy and time to be hateful. Not only that, but it takes up space that could have been used for something that’s actually useful and productive for you.
Just do you and ignore the haters and naysayers trying to actively dim your light. Of course, the law of karma exists so do unto others as you want them to do unto you too.
Love this part”When we can learn to live and let live, we will open a door to our heart that enriches our lives and flows out to help and heal others”.. This is so true!! Your posts are always inspiring and gets me thinking! Thanks for this!
This is always the best way to begin the week. I love the portion on darkness and forgiveness. Never underestimate the power and healing power of forgiveness!
You got the words right out of my mouth, Elizabeth! Wonderfully made, we all are and all we need is love and to love. All the fears, insecurities and anxiety we have, shall be set free, for good!
agreed! very enjoyable read. In the weeks following Anthony Bourdain’s and Kate Spade’s high profile suicides I”ve been reflecting on how great it is just to be alive and be able to experience all the quirks and eccentricities life has to offer. Even the simplest things like sun falling on a tree can be so magical if we just notice it. thanks for sharing.
Wonderful post. “Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.” This is my favorite. In this world, being grateful is everything.
Your articles always make me think. I love the positivity and wisdom that is entailed in this post. I often wonder why there is so much hate and why people want to hurt each other…
The saddest part is that these petty hatreds can grow into monsters is one of the truest statements that I have ever read. I just mentioned in one of my recent posts that we all need to have compassion for our fellow human beings.
So true. Each of us is unique. We were wonderfully made! Just the thought of those two tiny cells merging together giving rise to a human being. Amazing. I am more than grateful to have this life, no matter how difficult every day may seem. Being alive is a gift!
Sorry that you had to endure that, it is so easy for someone to sit behind a screen and talk whatever they please about another person! If you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything at all.
Life is beautiful! It’s amazing to see how so many different organs come together to produce a simple actions. How each muscle in your face allows you to smile.
I think it’s important to remember that though we are destined to die as we are born, due to cell replication our bodies renew every 7 years. Did you know that?
Such a great reminder to be grateful we are alive. Thank you for this wonderfully written post, Elizabeth. I affirm that I am God’s unique creation. I am a miracle.
I couldn’t agree more with some of the many things you mentioned! Especially the hate and evil towards people on things they done even have control over! We spend so much time criticizing others than finding ways to enjoy each others times and find things we share in common!
We are wonderfully made, such a miracle is it the human being. I love your inspirational blog posts and photos. They’ve been amazing all of these years!
These are the very things we discuss as a family when reflecting upon life and where/how the world came about. The design, the impossibly intricacy of it all, the way our bodies work from the inside out… we are undeniably wonderfully made, along with all of creation 🙂
the amount of negativity sometimes exhaust us as it sucks the happiness and energy out of our day. While most might say, try to avoid these people. but it’s difficult to remove the words once we’ve seen it (from the example you’ve mentioned)…
I know exactly how it feels. I used to run a group on FB with 8k members. I would say, I’m kind of strict when it comes to implementing rules and I am not afraid to call them out even publicly. There were times I’d receive hate mails from members and telling me that they’ll quit the group (like ma’am this is not the airport, you don’t have to announce your departure lol). There’s this one message that’s memorable – she wished me death just because we muted her for 24 hours. I mean, why? But yeah, those that I got hatemails from were the members who do not follow instructions.
This is a powerful Motivation Monday! It’s totally true that there’s so much darkness, but we need to see the light as much as possible… even in troubling times.
Always love your Monday Motivations! Especially love this “I feel as though my life is bathed in golden sunlight. And the really wonderful thing is that I know it.” Helen McCrory
“Each of us is a masterpiece wonderfully made and we need to remember that with gratitude for the life we have.” With this in mind, we shall treasure everyday, everyone and every single moment in our life.
Beautiful post. I love how you have jotted down so much information regarding science, poetry and philosophy (Rumi) into one post.
And I believe Monday is the day where I am in dire need of motivation.
I love what Marilyn Monroe said, Success triggers some people to get jealous and hate over you. We are wonderfully made by our creator and there’s always a balance in this world. The poem is admirable in the end.
Love this and totally agree! We are all so wonderfully and beautifully made, it’s so sad that many decide to wallow in hate and darkness instead of light, love, and beauty.
Indeed, we are living, walking, breathing miracles!!! Love the reminder of this, and how brilliant a gift life truly is. Thanks for choosing to be a Light in this paradoxical world. I appreciate you and the inspiration you bring. ❤️
Sadly, there are too many haters in our world today. Personally, I stay as far away from that type of behavior online and in real life. I like peace not toxicity.
I agree the expectations of others can stop us in our tracks. I think it’s important to realize, and to put into practise, that we cannot live our lives based on the expectations of family, friends, or anyone, if we hope to succeed in this chaotic world.
Growing population could be great if harnessed properly just like China did. Over population is just as bad too, I am of the opinion that countries experiencing overpopulation should increase tax rates of families with over 4 children and lower tax rates of those with 1-2 kids
Wonderful post. It gives inspiration to our Monday sickness habit. Everybody should start the first day of the week happy and peaceful.
Lovely pictures with good content. Loved reading it 🙂
We are all absolutely uniquely and beautifully made… We all have wonderful and different amazing traits to share with one another… 🙂
Seriously !!! I never give this thing a thought but your motivation really made me think of that being a human being is itself a bless to us. We sometimes forget to value it but this is really something important for us..
my wildest dream is to publish a best selling book.
I agree that being on the Earth is a gift! We are fearfully and wonderfully made, and we have so many blessings.
It really is mind boggling, I often think this when I stop and think about the world. Our Creation is amazing!!
I love this! All of this is so motivational! I especially like the poem A summer day.
These are all so lovely! What a nice way to start the day!
You got your own style
and your own smile.
You are absolutely Unique

These poems are very motivating. I like the positivity in this part specifically and its reminder of what truly matters. Thanks!
Reading your words alone was soothing. I liked the flow of it and very inspirational.
I love your motivational posts. The photos are great as well, thank you for sharing this. 🙂
This is a great post to read when you are feeling down. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that even being alive is somewhat of a miracle, so the small things shouldn’t make us too sad!

Amen to that. I hope we can all remember that too.<3

Hi, Elizabeth! You article moved something deep in me. Thank you for your inspiring words and your beautiful images.
Thank-you so much for posting this! Just what I needed to hear today. The quotes are really inspiring. I need to remember this every single day!

This is so inspiring! I have to remember that there is only one me and that I’m clearly on this Earth for a reason.
I can so relate to that twitter hatred portion that you shared! And it is so disturbing. I hope this world becomes a better place to live in

You’re right each of us is a masterpiece and it’s amazing when you think about how everything in the universe is made x
I love Motivation quotes and getting plus keeping on track as this is key I have to say.
There is so much hate in the world at the moment. It is sickening. I wonder why we all can’t get along.
There is so much truth to this statement: “The body politic, as well as the human body, begins to die as soon as it is born, and carries itself the causes of its destruction.” Jean-Jacques Rousseau. I like to think that we spend our entire lives searching for ways to leave our mark on the world.

So many amazing statements and poems in this post. I love finding motivational content to keep me going!
Good post, this is what everyone needs not only on Mondays but every day! Thanks for sharing.
I love all these facts about the human life – who knew we were so rare. Great post to really get me thinking!
You really know how to lift the spirits of those around you. The wisdom in this post is a gem.
I think the same way about people being hateful. I don’t understand it either; you need a lot of energy and time to be hateful. Not only that, but it takes up space that could have been used for something that’s actually useful and productive for you.
Great read!
Exactly… makes no sense to me.
The moral of the story is that we are blessed to be alive on this Earth. Also, take each day as a blessing, that’s how I’m choosing to live again.
Just do you and ignore the haters and naysayers trying to actively dim your light. Of course, the law of karma exists so do unto others as you want them to do unto you too.
We are indeed spiritual beings having a human experience as one of your quote says!
Love this part”When we can learn to live and let live, we will open a door to our heart that enriches our lives and flows out to help and heal others”.. This is so true!! Your posts are always inspiring and gets me thinking! Thanks for this!
great reminder that we’re all amazing and wonderfully made so we should live like we know it!
Everything about the human body is the ultimate masterpiece. Nothing can even compare. This is why we should all learn to take care of ourselves.

I don’t know why but I can’t feel that much hate in my world, also when I’m successful. May be I’ve very lucky (something that I’m quite sure of) 🙂
We are all and a true magnificent unique beings and we should all feel blessed and grateful that we were formed and create in the beautiful world.
It’s so important to remember our self-worth and take care of ourselves. It motivates us to do well the rest of the week!
I loved reading your post and all the quotes! Very inspirational!
Wow. That is insane. I thought I had some really nasty exchanges as a group manager but nobody wished me death.
What a motivating piece and I agree with you that there is too much hate in the world. I hope to stay, uplifted and encouraged 🙂
There’s a lot of information here, but I can tell you that Mondays are not my favorite days.
I loved reading this. With so much going on right now, it’s good to focus on the positive and spread it whenever we can.
Oh so true! Hatred causes us to grow into horrible monsters! Life is too short for al that.
Indeed, we are living, walking, breathing miracles!!! Love the reminder of this, and how brilliant a gift life truly is. Thanks for choosing to be a Light in this paradoxical world. I appreciate you and the inspiration you bring. ❤️
This is such a great post and thanks for sharing these amazing poems 😉
Thanx so much! I need these kinds of motivational posts
Sadly, there are too many haters in our world today. Personally, I stay as far away from that type of behavior online and in real life. I like peace not toxicity.
This is great. I’ve never thought of life as a special gift. If you think of it that way, life takes on new meaning.
These are such beautiful pictures. Feel like there is a moment hidden in each of them.
I love everything about this post. So full of positivity. Everytime I read your posts it makes me realise many things. I also get to know many things.
Thanks for spreading positivity in a time when there is so much negativity out there. I love the Fearfully and Wonderfully Made poem.
