Food Files: Quiche With Mixed Vegetables
This is a new addition to my Food Files segment. Quiche is such an easy pie to make and I think it has suffered from years of people making jokes about it by saying certain people (men, programmers, hot guys, smart gals, etc) don’t eat Quiche. We can all enjoy a slice of this delectable pie because we can add any combination of ingredients to our mix and make it to our own tastes. Get as creative as you wish and enjoy it in 45 minutes flat. I love to experiment with mine and have made all sorts of Quiche dishes with a wide range of ingredients. This veggie rich, seasoned and heart healthy version should be light and tasty too. Enjoy!
“I don’t always prepare such rich meals. Sometimes I’ll just serve a simple Quiche, salad and dessert for dinner. During the week I try to eat lightly.” Paul Lynde

Preparation:
Food is key to our sustenance and is often viewed as a way of sharing love and affection. I grew up hearing that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and I can understand why. We gather to enjoy it with friends and family, and on special occasions. I’ve written a number of posts on food but, recently, my kids encouraged me to create a dedicated page to feature our recipes, our love for fresh ingredients, and the joy of good food. This segment will be a repository for all things food; recipes, stories, reviews, special offers, and more. If you’d like to share a good recipe with me please do in the comments. Enjoy!
This week’s Recipe Is Quiche With Mixed Vegetables. Hope you enjoy it!

The quiche with mixed vegetables recipes looks good. I like eating healthy and this is a recipes I would like to do at home. Thanks for sharing your recipe:)
I love quiche! I usually make it with either spinach or broccoli, but I’d love to try your recipe!
Quiche is one of my favourites – spinach and ricotta!
That sounds delicious. I haven’t had a quiche in a million years, but now I am craving one.
I haven’t had a good quiche in a long time. This sounds hearty and delicious.
This looks delicious! I love a good quiche. I’m going to have to try this 🙂
That quiche sounds really great but unfortunately for me, my kids are picky eaters. The only vegetable they eat is corn. So I am limited on what I can make for dinners.
This quiche looks so yummy and healthy too 🙂 I really love quiche x
This looks absolutely delicious! I love quiche.
I absolutely LOVE making quiche! It took awhile for my family to enjoy it as much as I do but now they all ask for it! I love your images!
I love quiche. This looks delish. Quiche tastes better when someone else makes it though…
That quiche looks fantastic. My husband really loves quiche, so I like to make it for him every once in awhile.
My family adores quiche but they didn’t at first. I Had to get them used to it. Quiche is so very versatile!
I have had quiche before and i hated it but so did everything else I ate by that person, so i’m starting to think my issue was the cook and not the food. So I will give it a try again.
Quiche is so good and simple to make, pure comfort food =)
I hate spinach with a passion. BUT I will eat it in a quiche. I think the flavors just meld better this way!
Mm, I love quiche! Your picture look so amazing and I am hungry now! Thanks for the recipe I will have to save it and make it one morning!
Oh yum! I love quiche, but I normally have mine without a crust. This looks lovey!
I love Quiche and vegetables too! My son and husband love eggs but they hate Quiche , so I don’t make it at home, just buy from the store
I love quiche; I could eat it non stop.
I love a good quiche and this sounds amazing thank you for sharing.
I love this! quiche and veggies are such a great combination 🙂
Yum! Did you know you can also make a quiche in a puff pastry?
This looks so good! I have a quiche on the menu for this week 🙂
I love quiche for breakfast. This looks yum.
I love making quiche for my family because you can basically put any veggies that you want.
Such a timely post… we just had quiche for dinner! My dad loves making quiche and had us all over for dinner tonight. We love adding different veggies in like you did here.
Yum! I love a good quiche, though I have to make the crust gluten free. The trick is not to eat it all in one sitting!
Your quiche is a winner. It’s healthy and it looks oh so delicious!
Never like quiche just something about this type of food . Will share with friends who like quiche.
I love making quiche. Especially eggplant and zucchini. Will give your recipe a try. Thanks !!
That looks so delicious. I have never had a quiche before but it sounds very filling.
This looks delicious – I’ve never had a quiche before but it isn’t uncommon for me to make frittatas for brunch sometimes. I always heard that quiches are easy to mess up so I’ve never tried making one, but I guess since it’s really just a frittata with crust, maybe I can pull it off. Plus, this one looks yummy enough to risk, so there’s that.
I love quiche so much! So delicious! I have never tried with mixed veggies but that’s a great idea!
I love making quiche, and it is nice that it is such a versatile dish where you can switch up the veggies. I’ll have to give mixed veggies a try as we usually do just spinach.
