♥Happy New Year! What will you remember most about 2011? Aside from the many earth-shifting international events, I will remember the goodwill of many people in the world; helping others, sharing what they have, and I’ll remember the goodwill in the blogging community with our WordPress daily post challenge group and the many readers and supporters from WordPress and other sources including StumbleUpon, Yahoo, Google, Louvre Museum, 😉 and a host of others. Staying healthy is always paramount on our minds in the New Year, and we make lots of plans to get in shape or stay in shape. I offer you these wonderful tips from a master trainer. Every year, we start with prayers, blessings, and/or resolutions for the New Year and then we hope it all comes to pass. My next tip is to encourage everyone to not only focus on our wishes and goals, but to write them down and display them in a prominent place for view; visualize your goals/gifts. Then for each month, pick one goal/gift and focus on ways to accomplish it. I am offering all of you the following twelve gifts and I hope you enjoy them. Every New Year’s Day, people celebrate the long standing tradition of eating specially prepared dishes that attract health, wealth, and abundance on all levels. Because we believe in the blessings that come from certain foods, we eat them to ensure that the new year is a positive and productive one. I grew up with the belief that rice and beans dishes were important on the first day of the year. This past week, there was a great article Good Luck Foods For The New Year suggesting foods to eat on the first day of the year. The secret is that you have all week to enjoy these foods and then some. My next tip is Eat well and Celebrate life in 2012. The six recommended foods are: Lentils, Black-Eyed Peas, Pork, Fish, Grapes, and any Round Cake… I’ll add rice to the mix or if you wish, Quinoa. Have a phenomenal and inspired year!
