Haiku: Superpowers For The Ages…
“I don’t know why people are so keen to put the details of their private life in public; they forget that invisibility is a superpower.” Banksy

Haiku: Superpowers For All Time…
If WE could turn back the clock
No goals left to rot…
Our global discourse
End hunger, strife, wars and crimes
No fanfare needed
Bring back those we lost
Have tea with David Bowie
Nathalie … and more
We could discover
Invisible food reserves
To feed the hungry
Ilamas, Unicorns,
Welcome the bright rainbow road
Meet, greet, sages … saints
For this exercise, I combined the prompts of two Daily Post assignments because they both resonated with me. Now You See Me & If I Could Turn Back Time both had elements that I wanted to explore. Since the recent passing of David Bowie has been on my mind, I wanted to honor his spirit (and many others) with an imaginary magical moment; being able to sit, have tea and chat with someone you’ve admired for eons. Turning back the clock makes me a bit uncomfortable because it presupposes that we’d like to change or undo a few things. Honestly, I’m not sure I’d undo anything mainly because who knows what the new outcome would b? However, I’d love to meet many of the folks and master teachers from years gone by. How would you handle both prompts?

“I think the power of persuasion would be the greatest superpower of all time.” Jenny Mollen

Haiku: Superpowers For All Time…
If WE could turn back the clock
No hearts to break … hurt
Our global challenge
Spread love, peace, education
Perfection is … null
We could try eavesdrops
Put a STOP to terror acts
And global bloodshed
Bring back the good times
Dinners, dances, ocean strolls
Family time … more
Ilamas, Unicorns,
Welcome the golden sunshine
Mother Earth’s new song…
In 2016, my greatest hope is for global peace and intercultural communication. We owe ourselves and our children a world at peace not war. Being invisible would only be useful if put to the service of helping humanity. I’d like to look back years from now and read these words with a good feeling in my heart… that we have conquered much that ails the world. have a happy and peaceful 2016. My fellow bloggers were equally creative with their selections. Check out how others interpreted the themes – Now You See Me & If I Could Turn Back Time – below.
This post was inspired by 2 prompts from WP Daily Post: Now You See Me & If I Could Turn Back Time
Now You See Me: You have a secret superpower: the ability to appear and disappear at will. When and where will you use this new superpower? Tell us a story. AND
If I Could Turn Back Time: If you could return to the past to relive a part of your life, either to experience the wonderful bits again, or to do something over, which part of you life would you return to? Why?
Positive Motivation Tip: Whatever superpowers you wish to have, put it all to good use; to lift up humanity

I too wish for peace, If there’s ever anything we need more of, it’s exactly that
Yes PEACE in the world is much needed now. I pray for same. Will check out your take on all this. TY for stopping by Andy and Happy 2016! <3
There are definitely things I would do differently if I could turn back time. Maybe in my next life I will be smarter.
You are smart enough Robin! <3
I agree, I think if I will have a super power like I’m a billionaire, I’m going to invest some of my money in good program.
That would be a great help in the world… Just make sure you hire the management team to watch over the programs so the funds are not stolen or squandered… 🙂
