May has come and gone…

New Moon and spring blooms

Haiku: End Of May... some Saiga Antelopes die

Haiku: End Of May… some Saiga Antelopes die

May has lost … Saigas
Days of sunshine, thunderstorms
June’s sweet buds beckon

I love may, but June brings a warmness my body just loves. Only in June, July and August can you wear those flip flops and shorts and read in your hammock where I live. Beautiful pictures.

This is one type of poetry that I would love to explore more. I’ve done a couple of Haikus before but not as profound as the Haikus mentioned here. May is so special for me for it it is the month I first saw my eldest daughter.

I love May because it’s not too hot yet in Sacramento and you can see quite a lot of wildflowers all over the place. We also get busy towards the end of May because our son’s birthday is on the 1st week of June and we do a bit of preparation.
