“When we recognise the virtues, the talent, the beauty of Mother Earth, something is born in us, some kind of connection, love is born.” Thich Nhat Hanh

I feel very passionately that we need to take care of the planet and everything on it. Whether it’s saving the Amazon or just being kind to those around you, we need to take care of each other and Mother Earth. Olivia Newton-John
The only thing I want is to awaken all humans on the planet that we are living on Mother Earth. Afrika Bambaataa

How are you sustaining Mother Earth? How will you make a difference this Mother’s Day? For this week’s photo challenge on – Earth, – all I could think of was the many ways Mother Earth manifests herself on this planet. She is in everything and everything is in her … including us humans. All forms of life depend on each other for sustenance and survival, and we use materials we find in nature to create our artistic works… so there is a synergy that takes place and it unites us all.  Enjoy the collection and come back later for the individual shots that I will upload as a gallery.

“If we want to increase our own happiness, we need to invest in growing the community happiness and also take care of the whole, of Mother Earth.” Guilherme Leal

If you can feel that Mother Earth is in you, and you are Mother Earth, then you are not any longer afraid to die because the earth is not dying. Like a wave appears and disappears and appears again. Thich Nhat Hanh
Mother Earth needs us to keep our covenant. We will do this in courts, we will do this on our radio station, and we will commit to our descendants to work hard to protect this land and water for them. Whether you have feet, wings, fins, or roots, we are all in it together. Winona LaDuke

As you prepare for the weekend, take some time to reflect on how you contribute to sustaining Mother Earth and, perhaps, how you contribute to  actions that impact the environment and destroy our planet. Do something to help shift directions by recycling, or curbing waste in your household. We can all make an effort to be the change … Have a Happy Mother’s Day!

Even the people who come our way look upon us in amazement, that we run only for the healing of Mother Earth. Dennis Banks
It’s easy for people in an air-conditioned room to continue with the policies of destruction of Mother Earth. We need instead to put ourselves in the shoes of families in Bolivia and worldwide that lack water and food and suffer misery and hunger. Evo Morales

Have a restful weekend and a wonderful Mother’s Day on Sunday. Spread the joy!

This post was inspired by a prompt from WP Daily Post:  Mother Earth This week, On this day, between the global Earth Day celebration, and Mother’s Day in the United States, share your vision of our glorious Mother Earth.

Positive Motivation Tip: We are all connected to Mother Earth and she to us… honor her with reverence on Mother’s Day and beyond

We should remember that none of us would be here without mother earth. She takes care of use everyday.
