Weekly Photo Challenge: DINNERTIME

“You can just close your eyes and open them again and realize that you have the opportunity everyday to change your life, or change someone else’s. Dinnertime is a great time to think about that.” Deborah L. Halliday, Dinnertimes: Stories of American Life

Weekly Photo Challenge: DINNERTIME – In the yard

For this week’s challenge on Dinnertime, I decided to share how the birds and animals in my yard enjoy a meal. Since we put food out for the birds and squirrels during the cold season, they stick around throughout the year and visit the feeders and food containers to rummage for food. The deer like to hangout in the backyard and they are big dinnertime feeders but, obviously, it would be hard to capture them feeding at night. The collage includes a combination of shots that represent dining for my many animal guests; some regulars and some uninvited… All good.

“Dinnertime is the perfect time when you can sit down, you can offer thanks to your kids for making you laugh, or to your parents for supporting you, or to Creation for looking out for you, or to whomever you want…” Deborah L. Halliday, Dinnertimes: Stories of American Life

Weekly Photo Challenge: DINNERTIME – In the yard

I was planning to add a collage of food photos that I’ve taken, over the years, of the many meals we’ve enjoyed in my household but, I changed my mind when I thought of the animals in my yard. I might still put a food collage together for your enjoyment; stop by again for a selection of my favorite dinnertime meals. Hope your weekend is full of fine meals and great dinner conversation. Bon appetite!

This post was inspired by a prompt from WP Daily Post: DINNERTIME This week, focus on dinnertime: share a meal with us, or shoot during your dinner hour. Blogger’s choice! This week, share with us your interpretation of dinnertime.

Positive Motivation Tip:  All forms of life enjoy dining… whether it’s breakfast or dinnertime, try to make the best of yours!
