The Shark® Rocket® Powerhead vacuum has all of its best features in the head. The Powerhead is light in your hand and remarkably easy to maneuver. Its compact design makes it the perfect grab-and-go for day-to-day floor cleaning or any time you want to experience heavy-duty cleaning power without the heavy lifting.
The Powerhead provides powerful deep carpet cleaning in this light all-in-the head at just 9 lbs. It also features fingertip controls on the handle for a seamless transition from hard-floors to carpet and back.

The Shark® Rocket® Powerhead will surprise and delight you! For some years now, one of my best friends, Diahann, has raved about her vacuum cleaner. Whenever the subject about housekeeping came up in our conversations, her voice would lighten up as she regaled me with tidbits about what her fabulous Shark® Rocket® vacuum cleaner could do. She would always start with the line… “Liz, it’s light and powerful….yada, yada, yada!” “Okay, I hear you!” I’d interrupt her right away as I segued into another conversation. It’s not that I didn’t appreciate how great her vacuum was, it’s just that I already had a heavy-duty vacuum cleaner from a very well-known brand and was happy with it … or so I thought. I was fine with it until I hurt my back after being rear-ended in a fender bender and then I wanted something lighter that would do an equally superb job. I tried a few other inexpensive brands and was never fully satisfied with the results but I was stubborn about getting the Shark® Rocket® vacuum.

All that changed when I connected with the brand rep at BlogHer 2015 and tested the vacuum they had on display. It was light, relatively quiet, and it did a deep cleaning of the rug in front of me. At 9Ibs total weight, and 1Ib in-hand when vacuuming, it was a breeze to turn corners and do a deep cleaning job without adding pressure to my back. I went home, called my dear friend and told her I was sold. We had a good laugh over the fact that my well-known brand was soon going to be parked in the cleaning closet as a new guy was coming to town.

The Shark® Rocket® Powerhead arrived in a solid box and was very easy to set up. I didn’t need a screw driver or any complicated tools. The manual was easy to read with pictures to boot and customer service number to call if need be. I didn’t need any extra help. I connected the top to the power-head base, attached the brush holster to the main handle, stepped on the power-on button, and off I went vacuuming the carpets first. Then I vacuumed the hardwood floors by switching the brushes and it was a breeze. When the suction cup was full, I popped it open, emptied it, and voila!, my vacuum was ready to tackle the floors again. It has lived up to all expectations and I can’t recommend it enough to you. I have hardwood and carpeted floors and it’s such a joy to be able to switch brush heads and do the floors and then switch to do the carpets. The first time I used my new vacuum cleaner, I was very impressed by its deep cleaning and lint removal facilities … I’m still impressed by the thorough job it continues to do. Give it a go and you’d understand.

If you are thinking about getting a new vacuum cleaner that is light to the touch but that will deliver on all your expectations by doing the heavy lifting in cleaning your floors,both carpeted and hardwood floors, I’d recommend taking another look at the The Shark® Rocket® Powerhead You’ll be surprised at how effective and efficient it is. You can upgrade to the Pro if you need more bells and whistles or keep this one and let it deliver as promised. You won’t be disappointed with all that it offers above and more. Go get one!
