I love color and I enjoy taking pictures with lots of colorful items… So why was this task a challenge? Good question. I’d say I had a surfeit of colorful items to choose and soon, they became a huge kaleidoscope of vivid colors dancing in my head. The Adirondack chairs are from a furniture maker in the Rhinebeck region. The collage includes shots of richly colored plastic soup bowls and cups in a store, a colorful set of toy dragons, a beautiful double rainbow I caught outside my local CVS, Rainbow in a hand-blown glass, a colorful Hudson Valley skyline, the lit up Frank Gehry building in Manhattan, a glass making shop in Seattle, Washington and Word Art (Tomorrow). If we look around us, we will see color everywhere. It is above and below and beautiful. Wishing All a Very Happy And Rainbow Filled Father’s Day Weekend!

I remember opening my dad’s closet and there were, like, 40 suits, every color of the rainbow, plaid and winter and summer. He had two jewelry boxes full of watches and lighters and cuff links. And just… he was that guy. He was probably unfulfilled in his life in many ways. Jon Hamm
Above is an interior shot of that beautiful glass. I bought a set of 4 on sale, at Bloomingdale’s, many years ago. They are hand blown and signed. Each one is quite different. Frankly, they are so pretty that I often forget they are drinking glasses; heavy and beautiful too. The collage is a blend of some of the items mentioned above including a colorful barge on the Hudson River. When we take time to look around and pay attention to the world we inhabit, we see that there is so much color in nature that I can never get enough of it. In case you were wondering, Yes, for once, I left out my lovely colorful flowers. I wanted to give them a break. Have A Happy And Colorful Father’s Day Weekend!

I thought it would be cool to add that Word Art frame in here as it does have all the colors we need. If you look closely, you’d see m=numbers. yes, it is interactive and is a piece in progress… When the mood calls, we add some color to the mix. Hope you Father’s Day is Happy and Colorful!

They are Adirondack Chairs and are popularly used in the NorthEast during the summer days. People have them on their porches and outside… Truly beautiful TY! 🙂

It wasn’t hard. I lay the glass on its side and took an interior shot of it. I took some with flash and some without flash… Lots of fun. TY!

The Rainbow Colors in Word Art in ROYVBIV is something street art practitioners should take into consideration. It would be a head-turner seeing them painted on public walls.

I believe that colors are capable of changing our mood. I remember when I was younger, I would get sad when it rains because I can’t play outside. Whenever I see a rainbow, I become all cheerful again. I always thought it was because it used to be the symbol of that the rain is gone. But thinking about it now, subconsciously, the beauty of the colors in the rainbow amazes me and changes my mood; that after that dark rainy hour is a colorful sunshine.
I love photos with lots of colors especially bright ones. They really do give off a warm and happy feeling!

Many people love rainbows because of their colours. I love rainbow because when they are joined together, they create the white light we see… just like our life, it is wonderful and colourful when we split them up and see them bit by bit
ROYGBIV did help us remember all the colors of the rainbow before. These are collections are really colorful, catchy and creative.
