Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend – or a meaningful day. Dalai Lama

My fellow bloggers were equally creative with their selections. Check out how others interpreted the theme below.

This post was inspired by a prompt from WP Daily Post: Weekly Photo Challenge: EARLY BIRD   For this week’s photo challenge, get up early and explore the morning light. This week (and especially if you’re among those who find the early bird concept cringe-worthy), I encourage you to set your alarm for the early hours, grab your first (several) cups of coffee, and challenge yourself to capture an outstanding photograph in the early morning light.

Positive Motivation Tip: See the grace in getting up to see the glow of a new day; come sun or shine, just arise!

Beautiful images. I love New York in the early morning. The city is so tranquil and full of promise. For years (before I had kids), I would wake up early on the weekends and do my laundry, yoga and go to the grocery store. All of my tasks would be completed, hastle free, by 9 am and the Lower East Side, where I used to live, felt like it was all mine.
