Such beautiful birds. Haven’t seen to many up here in Michigan yet, but I know they are on their way. Usually about mid-March some of them start to head back and you can hear chirps as the snow melts.

Aw….I love little birds. I used to have one visit my balcony last Spring.
I love seeing different-colored birds in the wintertime. Their colors look more vibrant against the almost-glowing whiteness of the snow. I like Wilma Rudolph’s quote that you used as an intro to this post.

I love that quote that you made and I have to agree – its like saying that.. yeah.. the destination is important but the journey is what makes everything meaningful.
