Nice Haiku tribute for Thanksgiving. Being grateful and content for what you have is something special for one to learn.

This is the time of the year again when we say thanks and prayers. We don’t usually celebrate the same in the Philippines but since it’s also nearly Christmas, we’re enjoying the same spirit as well.

Happy Thanksgiving day! I’ve always admired how this day is well celebrated in the US. Sometimes I wonder if it is because the living in the US is way better. Here in the Philippines, I don’t think there would be a Thanksgiving Day or even if it will exist, it won’t be widely celebrated or appreciated because there are a lot of people suffering from poverty.

But if our people would celebrate this kind of day as a way of sharing the fortunes to the less fortunate, then it would be a great day ever.

Lovely poem and how cool that Hanukkah and US Thanksgiving were on the same day last year. I know it is in December this year though, which just means another opportunity to be thankful.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I didn’t realize that Hanukkah started on Thanksgiving this year. That’s pretty neat.

Happy thanksgiving! πŸ˜€ I was reminded of what my friend told me, “be a good receiver, by expressing your thanks!”

I now often say thank you for almost everything in my life. I get to see the beauty of living when I get to thank and recognize each blessing. πŸ˜€
