SCENE IV  –  About Cousin “T” It (Eavesdropping)

I know he’s cra-cra
Who wears meatballs for jewels?
I know …  Bea loves him!

Oh dear …  Cousin T!
What a surprise. Do join us.
Sit on the floor?  NO!

Why are you staring?
Drink your damn coffee, will you…
But … Me loves you girls

Helloooo? T speaking
I’m here with my girls, Beatrice!
We. Are. Not. MARRIED

Oh darling Cous’ T
We mustn’t do this daily…
Drinking coffee sucks!

Have you ever eavesdropped in a cafe before? Have you ever eavesdropped with your crazy cousin in a cafe before? Enjoy the drama. Have a good laugh on me. Add a few lines to the many conversations that take place in a crowded cafe. Come back later for even more hilarious conversations. TY Robyn!

Hi, secret lover…
Kiss, kiss. Love meeting you here
Oops! Here comes Johnny…

I knew it,  you…B#$%%ch!
You were cheating with my dad
Wait till mom comes home

What a lovely day!
Have coffee when it’s raining…
Sarcastic idiot!

Helloooo? … anyone home?
Pick up the phone … G…D damn it!
That’s it, NO DINNER!

If you ever need material for a post. Go to a public place and listen to the many conversations going on. You’ll enjoy the creativity.

My fellow bloggers were equally creative with their selections. Check out their posts below.

This post was inspired by a prompt from WP Daily Post: Cousin It  We all have that one eccentric relative who always says and does the strangest things. In your family, who’s that person, and what is it that earned him/her that reputation? AND  Weekly Writing Challenge: Eavesdropping This week’s writing challenge revolves around my favorite inspiration: eavesdropping.

Positive Motivation Tip: Sometimes, the best stories come from seemingly unlikely  places. Stay Alert.

I love to sit and talk with friends over coffee. Or even just people watch.

Great coffee-related quotes. I love how a cup of coffee can bring people together. I have listened in on conversations in a cafe, but usually not by choice. Sometimes, people talk way too loud in public.

I’ve definitely heard some snippets that have seemed wacky! It’s also really uncomfortable when a couple is fighting near you.

Ahhh, Cafe de Flore is gorgeous. Cafes are usually great places to hang out & well yeah, sometimes it’s fun to eavesdrop in conversations. But that isn’t intentional. You know how people sometimes tend to just talk a little louder when they’re talking to someone & you have no choice but to listen to them? Happens to me a lot.

Cafes are also great places to hang out and eavesdrop on others. Airports are another of my favorites- usually lots of drama there!

  27. 20/11/2014 2:41 pm

I just busted up laughing! I am so going into random places and eavesdropping! I’ve spent years trying to do the opposite. And I would literally get annoyed hearing gossip. (especially in the workplace)…Now I have a new perspective. I’m gong to embrace it! 😀
