Marathon training took up sooooo much time, and then I didn’t make my blog an priority. I am making an effort to get back to bloging, I love it so much 🙂

I grew up in the suburbs and it was a wonderful experience. Now I find myself living in the city.
Did you miss the suburbs? Toronto is a beautiful city and has a fairly suburbia feel in some parts… I do love it.
I do miss living away from tall buildings and breathing in cleaner air.
I can imagine… Plus you grew up in a beautiful country. 🙂

I think where we are brought up as a child, stays with us through life. I was brought up in a small village in Scotland and although I now live in Australia, the area where I have chosen to live is similar in so many ways. My house looks over onto a farmer’s field with cows so I feel like I’m in the country, but I only have to drive two kilometres to our local shops Best of both worlds!
Your home and location sound heavenly. I remember seeing some photos a couple of years ago Or was that before you moved? Still it’s a stunning area.
We’ve been in this house 2.5 years now, so those photos would have been this place. It’s in the suburbs, but we look over onto a farmer’s field of cows, so it feels like we are in the country. Best of both worlds!
It is your current place… Yes, best of best worlds. The photos were so romantic and beautiful, I could never forget them.
I grew up in small town in southern Missouri…i never did a lot of moving until i was in the military. now i have lived in large cities and small towns. I think i personally prefer the big city life, but thats just me. Great post, really loved the photographs.
City life can be great; especially if you can afford to dine and party out every night… It can be lonely too.

Thank you so much for sharing. I grew up in the country on a farm but have recently moved to the city. The older I get the more I don’t like inconveniences like driving 30 miles just to go to the store :). Now, I can just walk around the corner.
You have a point there… Both have advantages and disadvantages. For the elderly, not being able to drive can be a hindrance.

I grew up in a town of 2000 people. I now live in a town of over 50000 people & am close enough to kansas city to be considered part of the Kansas City Metro. The town I grew up in is where I lived for 28 years of my life so it has taken me some getting used to being in a BIG town & having to deal with “city driving”. Your pictures are great!
Yeah, that was a big move for you. It must have been stifling in the beginning to go from cozy to crowded.

I grew up in a very small town in the Dominican Republic. Everyone knew everyone and with no telephone or cars, I always wondered why moms knew what you did or didn’t do in no time. All eyes were on you. It was a literal “village raising a child” deal. Your life sounds so interesting living in different continents and the pictures are superb.
I grew up in a small city on the coast. It’s where my parents grew up and where they wanted to raise their kids. I love home!
I really love pictures! I would really like to have travels like that! I love seeing the difference in peoples communities and the way they live. I also love seeing cultures from around the world.

I live in a small town in north east America. It is so interesting to see other places/peoples. One day I will travel.
I do hope so… America is such a vast and beautiful country… There is so much to see even in the US alone.
I grew up in the town, really wasn’t suburbs around the coaling mining town that I was born. I have since moved, however, it would be fun to go back, taking photos of what made it so unique 🙂
