Haiku: Dreams Are Made Of This…

Haiku: Dreams Are Made Of This... Cherry Trees

Haiku: Dreams Are Made Of This… Cherry Trees

Dreams are made of this…
Sweet, glorious, pink tree blooms
Each a wish come true

Dreams are made of this…
A walk cocooned by  tree hugs
Bright with blessings too.

“Do all you can to make your dreams come true.” Joel Osteen

Haiku: Dreams Are Made Of This... Special Trees

Haiku: Dreams Are Made Of This… Special Tree

Dreams are made of this…
Hold tight; make your dreams come true
Like a bright spring bloom

This post was inspired by Daily Prompt: Sweet Dreams are made of this – What is the best dream you’ve ever had? Recount it for us in all its ethereal glory. If no dream stands out in your memory, recount your worst nightmare. Leave no frightening detail out. Photographers, artists, poets: show us IMAGINARY.

Agreed – all actions, good or bad, do have consequences and whether people realize it or not, karma is always watching.

I can’t recall any of my dreams for more than a few minutes after I wake up. I should jot them down. That would be interesting!

  3. 26/02/2014 1:08 pm

I love when you are walking, or even driving down a street and the trees surround you on both sides. So pretty, and you said it nicely. Tree Hugs.

What a beautiful pink tree! Pink is by far my favorite color. I recently went on a trip and stayed in redwood city. The redwood trees were everywhere and it was so beautiful!

Beautiful inspirations perfect with your breathtaking photos 🙂

  6. 26/02/2014 2:16 pm

I like this too, the way you described the walk under the these beautiful trees: “A walk cocooned by tree hugs”
Gee, what wonderful colours these cherry blossoms have! Do they have a strong perfume?
As far as dreams go, I think my bad dreams seem to stand out more than the sweet dreams. But when I am awake I tend to dream of a lot of good things! 🙂

I am in love with your tree pictures. Thank you for sharing your beautiful haiku!

You’re right, we do have to hold onto our dreams and answer for our actions. The pictures are beautiful by the way. I love the tree one.

My worst nightmare was not being able to find my oldest son, I would hear him calling for me and as soon as I would get close, his voice would get further away. I will never forget that dream. Loved this haiku, it is very beautiful.

Wow are these pictures amazing. I love pictures of trees. Trees are really special and they have special meaning since they represent planting your roots and stability.

Your Haiku reminded me of Spring so much!! I miss it!! I feel like it is never going to come back. Seriously, this time of year when we are waiting, waiting, waiting is harder than the middle of the winter.

I have so many dreams…a few have came true. But still I am trying to do the best I could to fulfill the rest – by God’s grace.

Love your positive motivation tip and pictures.

Hmm, the best dream I have ever had? That’s a tough one. I seem to remember only my bad dreams, or extremely weird dreams- I’m not sure why I can’t remember my good dreams.

  19. 27/02/2014 4:56 am

Last night I dreamt all of my kids were home (two are grown and live on their own). That was a nice dream. 🙂

  20. 27/02/2014 4:58 am

I have such vivid dreams every night, it’s hard to say which was my best dream ever. Your photos are gorgeous – and I love that Eleanor Roosevelt quote!

The best dream I ever had was being back in Thailand with the sun rising and the water over me. Being pregnant, I have a lot of weird dreams now!

  22. 27/02/2014 5:17 am

I can’t remember a particular good dream – but a recurring nightmare I used to have was one in which I was riding in the car with my father, coming down the mountain on the interstate, and he would jump out of the car and I would always wake up right before the car went off the side of the mountain! 🙁 Clearly I have father issues and don’t see him anymore, lol.

Wow. I am wanting to be part of your dreams. The pink trees are so beautiful and peaceful.

  24. 27/02/2014 6:41 am

    Lovely haiku!

  25. 27/02/2014 6:42 am

I love the pictures, but I know not all dreams are made of beauty… I had a horrible dream last night!

Love it! My best dream is having my grandma make her fried potatoes for me & my children while my grandpa sits at the table eating his corn flakes. <3 They haven't been around for about 20 years, so that dream meant the world to me.

  27. 27/02/2014 7:06 am

Such a beautiful pink tree! Great pictures!

  28. 27/02/2014 7:12 am

Best dream I had was probably that we won the lotto. lol Maybe that means I might come into money!

  29. 27/02/2014 7:59 am

Those are simply gorgeous photos! (I know those trees would make me sneeze and sneeze, so I would love to dream about them and not get near them in real life LOL)

  30. 27/02/2014 10:17 am

Beautiful! Pictures and words are great, but the pics won hands down for me!

  31. 27/02/2014 12:51 pm

Lovely haiku and accompanying photos! I don’t know if I can identify one of the best dreams that I’ve had…can’t pinpoint a specific one…but I do know that the best ‘ones’ are those when I am halfway asleep (very early in the morning), when it feels like I am controlling and feeling whatever is happening in the dream…those ones that feel ‘real.’

What a lovely haiku! I admire anyone who can write those, they’re hard! I love the pics too!

It’s so important to dream and to not forget to look forward to things in the future.

  34. 27/02/2014 5:17 pm

My grandmother always told me to keep a dream journal. I never did and now this is reminding me that i should.

  35. 27/02/2014 7:13 pm

Haiku is my favorite form of Poetry! I really like the beautiful pictures that you shared, too! Thank you 🙂
