¸.•*¨*•.♪♫♫♪Happy New Year to You & Yours!.♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸ ♥
˜”*°•.˜”*°•.˜”*°•.★★.•°*”˜.•°*”˜.•°*”˜” Have a blessed weekend! 🙂

This is a tough one to pull off, especially after a full year of all sorts of photographic highs and lows…  The collection I’m sharing on this post is a taste of 2012; a sliver of the many events I captured on camera.  It’s been an incredibly challenging yet empowering year for many of us and I’m glad a new year waits in the wings. My wish for 2013 is that we all follow our hearts dreams with enthusiasm, and develop the resilience to overcome all barriers when they arise. What are your wishes for next year?

Weekly Photo Challenge: My 2012 In Pictures…Stay Healthy

Post Hurricane Sandy, the Hudson River was slowly receding back to normal, but the shot above was of the very high water level; you could lean over and touch it. A goal I kept was to stay healthy – physically and mentally. I hiked, took lots of classes including Tae Kwon Do and ate more organic foods. I plan to stay focused on health, peaceful living and growth in 2013. What about your goals? More Below!

Keith Haring - Matrix Weekly Photo Challenge: My 2012 In Pictures...

Weekly Photo Challenge: My 2012 In Pictures… Keith Haring – Matrix

Here’s a taste of another shot from this year. Keith Haring was one of my favorite NY based artists. I followed his career from the earliest days of his subway  VandArt to his mainstream glory years and death. He was a remarkable man. The Brooklyn Museum had a retrospective of his work this year and I attended and took tons of photos. I plan to write a post and share them in the coming year.

Thank you All for the wonderful support you’ve given me this year. I would not have stayed the course without your loving feedback and encouragement. May the coming year be fruitful and productive for all of us. What are your plans for 2013? Were you drawn to certain types of photos for the prompt?  Do share! Thank you. :-)

*Please bear with me as I continue to catch up on reading and commenting on your blogs. Thank you all for your patience! 🙂

This post was inspired by a prompt from WP Daily Post: Weekly Photo Challenge: My 2012 in Pictures. My 2012 in Pictures. Pick the best pictures from your 2012 and have those pictures tell everyone about your year. AND  by the Weekly Writing Challenge post for this week: Weekly Writing Challenge: Just Do It! Your challenge: post every day for a full week. We’re excited to see what you’ll post about — be sure to tag your post DPchallenge so that we can follow your progress.

My fellow bloggers were equally creative with their selections. I added some from Zemanta and a few from WP Daily Post below. Check out how others interpreted the theme – Weekly Photo Challenge: My 2012 in Pictures – also see below. ***

Positive Motivation Tip: May the year ahead fill you with peace, bliss and abundant blessings… Share your gifts!

    • 29/12/2012 6:43 pm

TY B! I meant it too because I’m learning to overcome the barrier of petty hatred by people who don’t know me and should really get on with their lives… It’s a growth process and I’m stronger for it too… That’s the good part, haters make you stronger. 🙂

You are one unique gift to the blogosphere, Eliz. Who else rocks Warhol, Haring, a headless Buddha, Einstein, and LMFAO in one post? No one, that’s who. It has been a highlight of my year to become friends with you. {{{Hugs}}} Kozo

    • 03/01/2013 1:20 am

{{{HUGS}}} And the sentiments are mutual… Until your comment, I had not given the LMFAO photo much attention… But it is quite the juxtaposition to all the other calm, cute, serene shots. I love it!!! TY! 🙂
