Bowls of everything that uplifts humanity,
Carefully fold in scoops of our pets,
Mix in the power of prayer and
Add God’s immutable grace…

Thank you for a wonderful post. I am grateful for the many friends who have “adopted” me since my mother passed away four years ago. Holidays can be hard, and it’s so nice to have pleasant options. This year, I’ve escaped to my beloved writing retreat in New Hampshire, and am going to share a meal with friends up the road. I’ve been writing all day, and am thankful for that!

I really enjoyed this. Here are my Thanksgiving Reflections. I will be celebrating it this same way again. Great family time, great food, friends who have no families. We set several tables and keep adding them. Managed to snap a few pics.
