Reflections: Circles Of Appreciation…

21/10/2012

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well” Voltaire

Reflections: Circles Of Appreciation…

Throughout our lives, we connect with many circles of friends, family, and people who enrich our lives and act as guardians on the path. We have all had our share of pain and pleasure, and the goodwill of kind people have contributed to the joy and helped us in those dark hours. We would be remiss if we ignore the fact that all we do and accomplish happens because of the grace of other people. A great master once said, (it’s a favorite) that in addition to God’s grace, we must always ask for people’s grace… We need both in life.  Below is a gift given to me, and I must share it with All of YOU. This is an Appreciation, not an Award, and my goal is simply to say  Thank you! More below!

“I would rather be able to appreciate things I can not have than to have things I am not able to appreciate.” Elbert Hubbard

Reflections: Circles Of Appreciation…

“The yearly Līgo celebration happens every summer solstice in Latvia.
At this time we adorn our heads with Līgos of flowers, oak leaves,
grasses and plants. We join circles around bonfires and celebrate life,
and our appreciation of each other.”*
I have been invited by The Retiring Sort to participate in the Līgo Circle of Appreciation among fellow bloggers. Here are the rules for joining the circle:
PLEASE NOTE: This is an Appreciation, NOT an Award.
To fully participate in the Līgo Circle of Appreciation: Ignore the below and share as you wish!
♥Complete this sentence about blogging: “A great blog is…” A great blog opens our hearts and minds to new ideas, a chance to reflect and share, and gives us something to take away (humor, joy, healing, etc).
♥Refer back to the blogger who invited you – You don’t have to; just use as you wish! (Done above  and you are free to modify the rules and just enjoy it and share it as you wish.) Thank you to The Retiring Sort!
♥Invite 2 any blogger friends to join the Līgo Circle of Appreciation on a post – Anytime you wish. this can be done daily between October 1 and October 22, 2012. Please pardon my delay in responding to your comments and LIKES. I will definitely reciprocate and catch up.  My invitations today are to: Each and everyone of YOU. All my blogger friends, WP team,  silent visitors, friends and family… I appreciate you all, and your light keeps mine alive… THANK YOU! 🙂

Always!
Elizabeth

*Please bear with me as I catch up on your blogs and commenting… I’m back on track with reading and responding to your blogs; albeit at a slow pace. Thank you all for your patience! 🙂

Positive Motivation Tip: The appreciation we receive must be given back in greater measure, flowing over and joyfully shared.
