Musings: Oh Happy Day! Louise Hay – Happy Birthday… and more

Oh Happy Day! (Full version) – Choeur Gospel Célébration de Québec & Sylvie Desgroseilliers

Every day is a special day because it honors the birth of a great soul; another angel on a mission to earth. Today is a very special day at Hay House – it is the celebration of Louise L. Hay‘s 86th birthday! When Louise published her book Heal Your Life, in 1984, 28 years ago, she had no idea it would have a global impact on the lives of many people… She is an example of the gift of trusting our dreams and pursuing them wholeheartedly.

In honor of the lovely Hay House founder, they are offering (for a limited time) a free stream of her film, You Can Heal Your Life! Visit this Hay House link to order today (you can watch it later).  Also, To celebrate Louise’s birthday, if you’ve taken pictures with Louise Hay, or have one of you holding up your favorite Louise Hay book or affirmation card, submit it to: Hay House Photo Contest. The three (3) photos with the most votes will receive 2 copies each of Louise’s I Can Do It! 2013 Calendar with 365 Daily Affirmations. Entries close on Friday, October 12th, 2012.  Happy Columbus Day! More below!

Musings: Oh Happy Day! Dalal Lama’s cats…

Doc Barham – Transformational Communication: What Masters Know About Connecting with Others

Katharine McPhee – Connected

As I was surfing around YouTube, a few videos caught my attention… Even though they speak about the power and value of connecting in different ways, I’ve added them here because they offer some powerful insights and images about the joy of connecting with others; especially our loved ones…. When we think of happy days, they often include those days we spend with friends and family; days we add a smile to someone else’s memory bag, or days people have crossed our path and made a positive impact on us. Just like the Dalal Lama’s cats picture above, everyone deserves a chance at life and celebration. Have a Happy Day! 🙂

Thank you for stopping by. What are your thoughts? Have you read Louise’s books? Do you have stories to share? Do share? Thank you! 🙂

*Please bear with me as I continue to catch up on reading and commenting on your blogs… I’m halfway there. Thank you all for your patience! 🙂

Louise L Hays Looks great Happy Birthday! I have lots and lots of books in boxes. I usually give away my all time favorites. I remember loving her book and then giving it away. I remember the person I gave it to Helmut was so thrilled he brought me another book he thought I would like. I also have one of her tapes. We use to listen to the tape drifting off to sleep at the end of the tape I can still hear her voice she would say ” I Love You, Love Yourself.”

TY Star! I love your story about giving and receiving Louise’s books. You can add it to their Facebook page as they are still gathering shares for her birthday. What a blessing to be so vibrant at 86! May we all be so blessed. 😉

Happy Birthday Louise! I remember reading her book in the 80’s and being uplifted by it. I’m glad you honored her as she still offers so much to others today. He Dalal Lama picture is such a treat and put a smile on my face. Thanks! Btw, since you got Freshly Pressed, I noticed a drop in your comments. Are they related or is something else going on? Stay focused on your writing, you do make a difference in others lives. Remember the promise; keep your goals alive under all conditions.

She is a remarkable woman and when I met her at the I Can Do It event in Las Vegas (2009), she was gracious and kind. It is such a blessing to stay vital into our latter years… She is living the teachings of her book. Heal Your Life.
As per comments, for everything there is a season. Most of us have hundreds even thousands of blog subscriptions, and it takes time to respond to active blog posts. Like me, some of my blog buddies are still catching up as life demands continue even when we blog. I’m taking classes, writing, drumming for work, starting a small business, and running a household, so it does take time. But I do make effort to comment and like as much as possible and same goes for my buddies. People do eventually catchup. The FP angle might be coincidental… Life goes on! TY for bringing it up and for your support and reminder: keep your goals alive under all conditions. Definitely! 🙂

Louise Hay’s book was the first on my journey. Great way to start! I still keep ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ handy and refer to the ‘list’ whenever something is hurting. Her answers and affirmations are always spot on!
Can’t thank you enough for the video… it made my day!

I’m loving that quote “Even if happiness forgets you a little bit, never completely forget about it.” It tends to forget about me, so I’m really glad I came across this quote. Thanks for sharing.

TY for your feedback Isadora… and I’m glad you commented on my first line because I’ve been meaning to explain that each human birth is a gift and each of us an angel on a mission… Of course, sadly, some choose a mission of darkness. Stay inspired! 🙂
