Reflections: Ten Things To Be Grateful For Today... grateful for life, love and more...

The gift of life ~
The gift of love ~
The gift of writing ~
Earlier this year, I wrote a blog post, on my Positive Kismet blog, that looked back at 2010 and then forward at 2011. The post which was based on a prompt by MamaKat’s Writers Workshop answered the question: What word will you choose as your theme for 2011? I chose flourishing as my word for 2011 and challenging for 2010. As we enter the second half of the year and enjoy the last full and official month of summer, it is time to look around and be grateful for what we have accomplished to date; to be thankful for what we have enjoyed today.

“When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears” Anthony Robbins

Reflections: Ten Things To Be Grateful For Today... grateful for health, time and more

The gift of health ~
The gift of time and memories ~
The gift of family, friends and people we meet ~
Today, I’d like to revisit that word and remind us all to give thanks for the many ways; small and large, that our lives are flourishing. I know that every day I write a blog post and share it with others, I’ve registered another memory that wont be lost to the ether. When I take a sip of water and enjoy a meal, I know that but for the grace of God, I could be without. For starters, if we are able to see or read this post then we must be grateful for our lives.

The gift of life is taken so lightly that sometimes we forget the grace behind it and all the things we can’t do without it. I have added ten things that I am grateful for today and I hope you will pause and reflect on your day and the things that resonated in your heart today. I have added the rest below. What are you grateful for today? More Below 😉

Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.” Henry Ward Beecher

Reflections: Ten Things To Be Grateful For Today... the gift of a meal, of speech and more

The gift of a meal ~
The gift of mental clarity ~
The gift of speech ~
The gift of gratitude ~
Today, I met with some truly wonderful souls who welcomed me and answered all my questions. They spent time and they listened, and for that I am grateful to them. When all is said and done, we must stop and look at what we have done with our lives and how we have treated others. What about you? What are your thoughts? What ten things are you grateful for today? If you could do something differently today, what would that be? Do share! Thank you. 😉

Positive Motivation Tip: Start your day with grace and enthusiasm, end your day with grace and gratitude.

each day it’s a good idea to remember what we are grateful for…sometimes we get busy or stressed and forget. It’s always nice to think about the things that make me grateful because they are the same things that make me happy. Thanks Elizabeth.

There is plenty to be thankful for- you have made a good list- ! Great Post

I am mostly thankful for each morning, I wake up and I’m able to get out of bed-and start my day. I always start out with good thoughts, but sometimes these thoughts can get confused, or put aside in all the chaos life can throw my way in a day’s time. !!! 🙂

    * A roof over our heads and loved ones sharing the space with us.
Many will spend this day homeless, cold, and alone.

    * A wonderful meal on our table, in our refrigerators, or cooking on the stove.
Far too many do not know where their next meal is coming from.

    * Access to clean running water for cooking, bathing, and cleaning clothes.
In many areas of the world, gathering water for cooking requires carrying heavy pails or jugs for miles.

Grateful to be alive at this moment. To have health and a beautiful place to rest my head. Grateful for family and friends. Grateful for my life. It’s a fabulous one. I could wish for more money but I doubt it’d make me more content.

It is so important to be grateful for everything that we have, even when you feel like things aren’t great. These is always someone that has things worse than you. Every day is a gift!
