Cliches may speak truths
As they fly over our head
I’m game for a change…
If she swept past him
On her way to a great date
She scored a birdie…
More below… I decided to play around with cliche lines and enjoyed it. They are here to stay … like it or not.

“If life is full of cliches” – I believe it always would be so, and full of illusions too – in my eyes it doesn’t really matters as long as we not turn into a cliche or an illusion ourselves… 🙂 😉

I know as a writer cliches are a no no, but personally I still like to say them. 🙂

Wow. That was pretty funny. Not sure if I could write in that many clichés!!
I don’t always think it’s best to avoid risk, though I went to Atlantic city this weekend, and that 80 bucks I gambled away, was certainly a bird in hand!
I use allot of sports cliches in my writing and talk.. I think they relate really well with some of the things i do,
I live in an area where people talk in cliches all the time. I guess I hear them so much that I really don’t think much of them.

The one that I have found most meaningful in my life, I learned as a teenager. I was with a friend at an outdoor activity visiting and right before our eyes, someone in a car smashed into his vehicle, then drove away. He said something that I will never forget, “This, too, shall pass.” It was the first time that I heard it, and it has been a theme throughout my life. Any time something bad happens, I hear that cliche, and I am able to get through it.

I think clichés are very true. They tell a universal truth. But we should be very careful in not overusing them.
I think playing with language is fun, no matter what. I’m totally fine with cliches, by the way. 🙂
Cliches are OK but you can’t over use them. It gets old quick.
My daughter writes Cliché all the time & sometime a lot of them be funny & true lol
