Purpose…
Have you always had a sense of purpose? As a teen, even a sweet sixteen, it was the furthest thing from my mind. I just wanted freedom from parental control. Having fun with friends and throwing parties were our purpose. Recently, I purchased an updated/expanded version of the best selling book by Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life: What On Earth Am I here For? I read it in a study group a few years ago and, this time around, Iagreed to read it with a friend… It’s worth a read.
I’ve been mulling over a lot of the usual questions we ask when we reach an impasse in our lives, and some of the same answers arise. Since 2013 kicked in, I’ve written daily small stones and today, I decided to share a few thoughts on “Purpose” above and below. Hope you enjoy them. What is your purpose?
