Write my Life passionately
2012 has been a remarkable year with much sadness and joy to reflect on; Hurricane Sandy, the tragedy of Sandy Hook Elementary, the 23 year old rape victim in India, Obama’s re-election, many new blog friends, loss of many greats, and the birth of many new creative minds… Let’s keep writing, let’s reach for our peace flags often, and follow our hearts dreams in 2013. I’ve added some resolutions that tickled my fancy in block quotes… and my three above each paragraph. Stay Happy and Blessed. Happy New Year!

Be Bold for Peace
The New Year holds a lot of promise and we have a chance to start afresh… I look forward to being actively engaged in the world and to give my best effort to peace. For all who supported this blog in 2012, I thank you and pledge to honor you more effectively. The formal blog thank yous and awards will be in 2013. “Another fresh new year is here . . . William Arthur Ward
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!
This bright New Year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!”

Boldly follow my Heart’s Dreams in 2013
Thank you for being there and for the blog love. Happy New Year! This post was inspired by a prompt from WP Daily Post: Writing Challenge: New Year’s Resolutions (Doompocalypse Redux) Tell us about the three things you’d most like to change about your life, and make a bold, I-don’t-care-who-knows-it-because-there’s-a-meteor-a-comin’ assertion to the world that you are going to get these changes made. And that you’ll have at least started making them happen by March. When, erm, you’re probably going to wind up as dust.

Positive Motivation Tip: Stay bold and faithful in 2013 and act on your dreams… ♥HAPPY NEW YEAR!♥ :-)

  1. Dear Eliz…a most Happy and Blessed New Year to you and your family! Thank you for creating a blog I can always turn to for positivity, information and rejuvenation.:) You are a special force in my life!

  2. I’m so happy I found you. I love your blog. Last year was great, 2013 will be awesome. Happy New Years. :)

  3. Great resolutions :) any you’d made last year that you kept/didn’t keep?

    • Great question. No, I made no resolutions last year. I usually offer self improvement tips not resolutions, and follow them to the best of my ability. I’m not big on making resolutions because I don’t like to limit myself to a set of rigid ideas or goals. What I wrote above are already part of my life and I will up the ante on myself and fine-tune them.

  30. Inspiring, Eliz. Thanks. I made one resolution that has, for 61 years, eluded me. I resolve to be less critical ( or should I put that more positively) more supportive of myself. I know I will find support in your words. I hope you rang your new year in with a smile. *Gem*

  38. Oh, I would like to sleep early for starters! Also exercise regularly and eat right. Those are my primary goals and I have already failed miserably on the first :-( Went back to my Yoga class that I had been skipping in the last two months, so that is one green tick mark :-) Thanks for a beautiful post Eliz, and Happy New Year!

    • Good and keep it up… The sleeping early in my bed is one I must work on… I’m sleeping more but at my laptop!  TY!
