Welcome 2012: Tips For An Abundant & Healthy Year!

♥Happy New Year! What will you remember most about 2011? Aside from the many earth-shifting international events, I will remember the goodwill of many people in the world; helping others, sharing what they have, and I’ll remember the goodwill in the blogging community with our WordPress daily post challenge group and the many readers and supporters from WordPress and other sources including StumbleUpon, Yahoo, Google, Louvre Museum, ;-) and a host of others. My first tip for 2012 is to remember to say Thank You! We can’t say it enough times. Thank you all. I’ll stop by to say Happy New Year and thank you soon…

Welcome 2012: Tips For An Abundant & Healthy Year!

Every year, we start with prayers, blessings, and/or resolutions for the New Year and then we hope it all comes to pass. My next tip is to encourage everyone to not only focus on our wishes and goals, but to write them down and display them in a prominent place for view; visualize your goals/gifts.  Then for each month, pick one goal/gift and focus on ways to accomplish it. I am offering all of you the following twelve gifts and I hope you enjoy them. For 2012, I send 12 gifts/blessings/wishes to each of you:
♥ Health
♥ Happiness
♥ Hope
♥ Abundance
♥ Grace
♥ Peace & Love
♥ Wisdom
♥ Friendship
♥ Goodwill
♥ Success
♥Adventure
♥ Divine Protection
You may also create your own wish list of twelve and try the suggested tips above. More Tips below. ;-)

Welcome 2012: Tips For An Abundant & Healthy Year! Eat and Live well...

Welcome 2012: Tips For An Abundant & Healthy Year! Moderation is key...

Every New Year’s Day, people celebrate the long standing tradition of eating specially prepared dishes that attract health, wealth, and abundance on all levels. Because we believe in the blessings that come from certain foods, we eat them to ensure that the new year is a positive and productive one. I grew up with the belief that rice and beans dishes were important on the first day of the year. This past week, there was a great article Good Luck Foods For The New Year suggesting foods to eat on the first day of the year. The secret is that you have all week to enjoy these foods and then some. My next tip is Eat well and Celebrate life in 2012. The six recommended foods are: Lentils, Black-Eyed Peas, Pork, Fish, Grapes, and any Round Cake… I’ll add rice to the mix or if you wish, Quinoa. Have a phenomenal and inspired year!
What are your thoughts? What did you do for the first day of 2012? Was it an auspicious beginning? Were you spot on with your first day plans?Do share? Thank you! :-) ♥Happy New Year! :-)

Positive Motivation Tip: Start with hope and joy and act on your dreams… ♥HAPPY NEW YEAR :-) !

Q How do you get the related articles?

    • The related articles come from Zemanta. Go to your blog, go to Users > Personal Settings in your Dashboard. You’ll see a new option near the end of the page that lets you add Zemanta to your posts. Activate it. Then go select one of your posts that you’ve written, choose view in visual mode and Zemanta will do the rest. As per my post, I included the links in my post. Hover over Jillian’s name for hers and over the Good Luck Foods for theirs. The rest is my work. TY Happy New Year! :-)

  15. Even though we just met, I can feel all the positive energy from your blog. I’ve enjoyed reading your Tips post! Excellent ideas! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I’ll be back for more great vibes from yours! ;) Thank you!

  16. I like the twelve blessings! Writing them down and focusing on one at a time is an excellent idea. And thank YOU for pointing out the benefits of making wonderful interpersonal connections. I want to be better this year about sharing inspirational posts with some of my friends who aren’t necessarily currently in tune with blogging. You have a lot to say, and I plan to encourage some of my friends to “tune in” for a daily read and become acquainted with your particular brand of healthy optimism. We need as much of that as we can find :-) Debra

    • Thank you Debra as I feel the same way about your blog too. It’s a mutual admiration society. ♥Happy ♥New ♥Year ♥ & TY for the blogging love! :-)

  17. Wow thanks for sharing those tips! We should begin this new year with positive thinking like this :)

So great! I esp. love “another chance for us to get it right”… Here’s to that!

  21. Thank you, Elizabeth, thanks for the tips! I definitely plan to celebrate life this year. Wishing you all the best for 2012.

  22. Happy New Year! I agree, this year should be one that is positive. We should embrace our dreams and begin acting on them. If we never try, we never succeed in anything. Think and act positive in all things, the bible says that whatever a man thinketh, so is he. Have a wonderful and bright new year!

    • Thank you for your inspired message. I’m glad we connected. I wish you much success and abundance in 2012! :-)
      ♥Happy ♥New ♥Year ♥To ♥You. :-)

  23. Christy Farmer
