“Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can – there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did.” Sarah Caldwell
The gift of life ~
The gift of love ~
The gift of writing ~
Earlier this year, I wrote a blog post, on my Positive Kismet blog, that looked back at 2010 and then forward at 2011. The post which was based on a prompt by MamaKat’s Writers Workshop answered the question: What word will you choose as your theme for 2011? I chose flourishing as my word for 2011 and challenging for 2010. As we enter the second half of the year and enjoy the last full and official month of summer, it is time to look around and be grateful for what we have accomplished to date; to be thankful for what we have enjoyed today.

The gift of health ~
The gift of time and memories ~
The gift of family, friends and people we meet ~
Today, I’d like to revisit that word and remind us all to give thanks for the many ways; small and large, that our lives are flourishing. I know that every day I write a blog post and share it with others, I’ve registered another memory that wont be lost to the ether. When I take a sip of water and enjoy a meal, I know that but for the grace of God, I could be without. For starters, if we are able to see or read this post then we must be grateful for our lives.
The gift of life is taken so lightly that sometimes we forget the grace behind it and all the things we can’t do without it. I have added ten things that I am grateful for today and I hope you will pause and reflect on your day and the things that resonated in your heart today. I have added the rest below. What are you grateful for today? More Below
